Thank you. I have just read the .pdf version. A question: what is a 'drummy area', and what was its significance in the failure of the reservoir? My thanks to all those involved in the search for truth and for the great work in the 'Monaro Zone'.

"drummy," refers to sections of the concrete that has become hollow or detached from the underlying structure. It usually indicates a loss of bond between layers of concrete or gunite. In this case, the presence of extensive drummy areas—particularly along the base and vertical joints—was a clear sign that the tank's structural integrity was compromised well before the collapse.
