Thank you for sharing. I am trying to find the time (and muster the energy) to raise the issue of the Mobile Library service. I do not believe that the Outreach service (as currently in operation) can meet the needs of shire residents: especially school-aged children, in the villages. A return of the Mobile Library (even at a reduced frequency) would be more effective. Are any councillors interested in raising/pursuing this issue?
Indeed, it's been quite a while since the Mobile Library service has been in the spotlight. Cr Thaler had been working on it last year, but I don't think much else has happened recently (especially due to the holiday break and PIO notice).
