Three Premiers, One Deputy Premier, three Ministers for OLG, other Ministers and two Government Inquires failed to address the abominable SMRC Councillor conduct in the compulsory acquisition without consent of Werralong road. To now target one SMRC Councillor, in a PIO, for standing up for the rights of the community, is abhorrent.
I feel it's time the actual meaning of "legal threats" from the ex CEO were properly established as Narelle Davis (who appears to be very confused about who the Mayor is) claimed "they" all knew what that meant. Well, the public don't. So, instead of assumptions, Davis should be placed on record to detail exactly what the ex CEO meant by this statement, why it is only some of them know (including Steve Whan), and if that can't be achieved then the ex CEO should be requested to precisely detail his meaning with that statement.
To be blunt, a PIO should have been issued to SMRC in 2018, but instead we ended up (somehow) with a Deputy GM, who didn't know what a project management framework was (and probably still doesn't) . . . and maybe didn't know about filling up a water tank that hadn't been repaired or stress-tested ? Under that 'leadership' our combined regions recorded the worst deficits ever recorded.
So, why a PIO has been issued now by this useless Government and department who doesn't think they're a regulator and by whose influence at senior levels (because it certainly wasn't going to occur without) is the great mystery.

Agreed - a horror story.....and I hope you get remedy for the appalling behaviour of the council in regard to your property too Charles...
What tangled webs ... Thank you. I appreciate your explanation.
Thank you for your clear and concise reporting Chris...so important now while there is so much mess...
