A frustrating scenario for Rueben and the other new councillors to be up against the ‘old guard’, … however sticking to facts, the core principles that they were elected for, persistent inquiry into what has become the status quo, etc. will hopefully prevail in the end. Maybe some of the other councillors might start to take a bit of note and question things a bit more. If elected councillors are starting to be shut down for inquiring into important matters such as finance, people management, governance, etc. that should ring alarm bells for anyone.
